The mission

If you look back at NFL officiating over the last 20 years you realize two differences from the 80 years before that. First the last 20 years have instant replay. Second the last 20 years have had an extremely lower quality of officiating. So we want to get rid of instant replay. We would also like to add another official to the field of play, the sky judge.

A sky judge would be an extra official that would give the referees on the field a shoulder to lean on. So many calls like the notorious Saints no call a few years ago could have easily been solved. The sky judge would instead of throwing a flag, would be able to push a button that would send a signal to the jumbotron saying that there was a penalty.

Not only are these solutions great for us the fans, but they are great for the NFL too Roger Goodell can (sadly) make more money along with the owners because TV ratings would skyrocket and more advertisers would want to have their ads during NFL TV time.
